LICENSEE REQUIREMENTS
Renewals are valid for 2 years and licensees whose license expires on, or after October 31, 2021 will be required to submit the following Continuing Education (CE) requirements:
SALESPERSON
36 hours of CE which must include:
- 3 hrs. Agency
- 3 hrs. Ethics
- 6 hrs. Contracts
- 3 hrs. Law & Legislation
- 3 hrs. Risk Reduction
- 18 hrs. of any designated areas of Continuing Education
Renewal Fee $195
BROKER & BROKER SALESPERSON
36 hours of CE which must include:
- 3 hrs. Agency
- 3 hrs. Ethics
- 6 hrs. Contracts
- 3 hrs. Law & Legislation
- 3 hrs. Risk Reduction
- 6 hrs. Broker Management
- 12 hrs. of any designated areas of Continuing Education
Renewal Fee $235
Permit Holders: In additional to the above CE requirements, Business Broker permit holders must include 3 hrs. of CE for permit renewal; Property Management permit holders must include 9 hours of CE for permit renewal
At least 18 of the required 36 hours must be taken through live instruction.

LIMITED CONTINUING EDUCATION EXEMPTION
Licensees who are 65 years or older and have been licensed in Nevada in good standing for 30 years or more may apply for an exemption to complete a reduced number of Continuing Education (CE) requirements for renewal:
SALESPERSON
36 hours of CE which must include:
- 3 hrs. Agency
- 3 hrs. Ethics
- 3 hrs. Contracts
- 3 hrs. Nevada Law

BROKER & BROKER SALESPERSON
36 hours of CE which must include:
- 3 hrs. Agency
- 3 hrs. Ethics
- 3 hrs. Contracts
- 3 hrs. Law & Legislation
- 3 hrs. Broker Management
